Yesterday 18-year-old Abel Cedeno lashed out with a folding knife on two students during a history lesson at school in the Bronx. As a result of fight one of the Teens was killed and a second was wounded. Friends of the family of the young killer’s claim that he was abused, he was repeatedly subjected to homophobic and racist insults.
According to NYPD chief Robert Boyce, two of the victims thrown in Cedeno pencils and sheets of paper that, apparently, prompted him to start the fight and use a 3-inch switchblade, which was with him. As found by the police, 18-year-old student and two teenagers were no skirmishes before, but this was their first disagreement.

«He had problems early, at the beginning of school, but not with these ladies,» said Boyce.
The killer refused to tell me why had been the victim of bullying. According to school representatives, the guy never informed that someone intimidates or taunts him.
After the attack, which happened in front of about 20 witnesses, Cedeno handed the knife to the school counselor and went to the school office where waited the arrival of the police.
As it became known, 15-year-old boy who was stabbed, Cedeno, called Matthew McCrea.
Cedeno, allegedly told investigators he bought a folding knife online about two weeks ago that «he just was».
Friend Abel, Savannah Hornbeck, shared their information with the media: «After he repeatedly insulted, and not followed by a response from the school, Abel felt that he had no other choice».

Hornbeck said that Cedeno often returned home in tears because of the bullying of his classmates from high school.
One of the friends of the family, Cedeno, iris Couverte, reported that she talked with Abel in the 48th police precinct after his arrest.
«These two kids in class, they hit him, she said. He said that they slapped him in the face. He said it because he is a homosexual or bisexual».
Labem, who was wounded, Cedeno, remains in a critical but stable condition at the hospital of St. Barnabas in the Bronx. McCree was declared dead at the same hospital where his mother was on shift when they brought him in.

Victor defended the deceased student, who had allegedly insulted Abel, and described it as «a good kid, very smart, very loving».
As reported by Ddaily NY News this is the first murder in the city school since February 1993.
