Physical education teacher from California was arrested after he was accused of using rope not for its intended purpose – he was involved in the strangulation of the students during class. The Sheriff’s office Fresno County reported that they arrested 64-year-old Peter Samhammer in four criminal cases of abuse of children.

Local detectives say that the teacher tightened the rope around the neck several high school students in Herndon Barstow, who were aged 9 to 11 years. They argue that the rope had left red marks on the neck and shoulders of children.

In the Central unified school district posted the following statement:
«Mr. Samhammer is the official administrative leave. The safety of students is a top priority for the district, and therefore we work closely with the Office of the County Sheriff and will continue to do so throughout the investigation.»
