On Wednesday at a chemical plant in Kingsport, Tennessee, was a series of explosions. According to Eastman Chemical company, which owns the production facilities, the incident occurred around 10:40.
During the replacement of equipment in one of the shops detonated illuminating gas, consisting of a mixture of methane, hydrogen and carbon monoxide. After two powerful explosions at the plant the fire started. The footage from the scene, you can see the clouds of smoke that rise above the city.
Fortunately, the accident no casualties. As a precaution, residents of Kingsport, was recommended to take the nearest shelter, but soon the warning was canceled.
At Eastman Chemical , assure that the incident does not pose a threat to human health and will not affect the environment in the long term.

It is noteworthy that the explosions occurred at the 57-th anniversary of the infamous events in aniline plant , Eastman Chemical in Tennessee. 4 Oct 1960 in the explosions and fire 16 people died and 400 were injured.
