Season Bush fires that afflict California last week, did not pass and Los Angeles. Sunday evening the flames had reached the green in Griffith Park.
City fire Department recorded the fire at 18:56. According to authorities, the fire was in the 2800 block Observatory drive, East of the Griffith Observatory and above the Greek theater, where at 20:00 was the scheduled speech of the rock band Evanescence.

The current year was extremely unfavorable for California from the point of view of fire risk. The combination of warm and windy weather with lush vegetation, which occurs after wet winters, create ideal conditions for easy ignition.
The massive fire broke out last weekend in Northern California. Since then, the disaster has claimed at least 40 lives in the counties of NAPA, SONOMA, Mendocino and Yuba, destroyed over a thousand buildings and hundreds of thousands of acres of vegetation.
