On Wednesday, police Yonkers, the middle suburbs of new York, discovered a laboratory for the production of drugs. As it turned out, in one of the houses was raised by someone real hemp «forest» — more than a hundred marijuana plants.
Firefighters reported a suspicious smell of gas that comes out of the apartment house on Yonkers Avenue 26. Fortunately, the leak was discovered by the officers, but they found something else. This discovery has stunned even veteran police.
«They were shocked such a large number of plants,» — said the captain of the police Department of Yonkers Peter Butler.

Investigators shared information on laboratory scale: the marijuana bushes occupied two apartments. The bushes were so large that they can be easily confused with Christmas trees.
We will remind, last year this situation occurred in the Bronx that ended tragically. Then a meth lab exploded in the moment when firefighters arrived on the call. As a result of the explosion, the battalion chief FDNY Michael Fahey died.
«This is very serious, because the mix of chemicals and electricity can lead to an unstable situation,» said Charles Gardner, the Commissioner of police of the city of Yonkers.
In connection with last year’s incident, the police promptly evacuated and fenced off house. For hours law enforcement officers did not let anyone into their apartments, while the staff of the FDNY in hazmat suits and respirator masks are not made all the pots with marijuana.
Police have launched an investigation and now finds out who is the tenant of the apartment. At the moment the charges were never brought.
