In San Francisco overturned a bus 29 passengers injured

Friday night in San Francisco overturned a passenger bus. The accident resulted in 29 people injured, including the driver.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday. The bus was moving southbound on highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street in San Francisco. The bus was not scheduled, he was ordered to transport passengers to participate in the event in Palo Alto.

In place immediately left rescue teams, a total of about 60 firefighters and medics. 25 of the 29 injured were taken to hospital. The driver of the overturned bus was hospitalized last. He refused to go to the hospital as long as help will not get all of his passengers.

One of the passengers in the bus, discharged from Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital today spoke with reporters for ABC News and said that he remembers about the incident.

«I remember we were dancing in the road and then suddenly the bus fell to one side, then I don’t remember anything,» said Marco Zorzi. The bus got injured himself, until the arrival of rescuers.

As of Sunday morning, 23 of the 25 victims were discharged from hospital, two remain hospitalized, but their condition is described as «good».

What was the cause of the accident is not yet clear, is under investigation.
