Yesterday, December 21, at about 12.20 hours in Canarsie, Brooklyn, three unknown assailants beat 58-year-old bus driver , MTA, refusing to pay the fare.

As PIX11 reported, the incident occurred on Remsen Avenue when the bus B-17 stopped at the intersection with Flatlands Avenue.

The interior of the bus came three men, but they refused to pay the fare. When the driver started to argue with them, the unknown pulled the sweater over his head and started beating him.

The driver still managed to fend off the attackers, those jumped out of the bus, and the man closed the door. Then one of the criminals broke the glass in the door of the bus, and all three escaped.

The victim was taken to Kings County hospital. As reports the Daily News, doctors diagnosed him with a shoulder injury and a bruise near the eye.

The police are looking for intruders. We add that the attack on the MTA employee is a felony class D, and shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term up to seven years.
