American and Afghan convoy was ambushed in Eastern Afghanistan, soldiers fired at and detonated the bomb.
As reported in the press release of the US armed forces in Afghanistan, the group returned fire in self-defense, according to preliminary data, the convoy, no one was hurt.
The attack occurred in the province of Nangarharin the same district, where on Saturday killed three soldiers of the US army, and one was wounded. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
The U.S. military also reported that «has not received official statements about civilian casualties» during the shootout today, June 12.
