The police Department of new York reported that two of his officers were injured after a drunk driver crashed into a police car.
According to police, 27-year-old driver was driving South on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan on Saturday, when he crashed into a moving car in front of him, the NYPD, bound for a call received on the telephone «hot line». Two officers were inside the vehicle were taken to the district hospital with minor back injuries.
The offender refused to take a test for alcohol consumption on site (using a breathalyzer), so was taken to the nearest medical facility inpatient survey. After confirmation of the intoxication he was charged with driving a vehicle in a condition of alcoholic and narcotic intoxication.
A similar incident occurred on Friday in West Babylon in Suffolk County. The drunk driver of the car crashed into him braking in front of the police car. The officer inside sustained some minor damage and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The offender was also taken to the hospital for examination. Later he was charged with driving a vehicle in an alcohol intoxication.
