Police arrested 39-year-old resident of Brooklynwhose son was found on the roof, barefoot and with burns.
Militiamen were called Felicia Thomas, who lives on Saratoga Ave. to Brownsville. According to the Daily News, her neighbor knocked and said that the roof of her two-story house haunting a baby and calls mom.
When firefighters and police got on the roof, they saw that 10-year-old child is barefoot, his feet were burns from a hot tin roof, and on his hands were cuts. He told the police his name — was that a house boy is a little further.
«Get on my roof jumping from the next, which is above 30 feet. No idea how he could do it,» says Felicia Thomas.
Finding out the address of the boy, the police went there. The baby’s mother, 39-year-old Ramona McClendon, was at home with his youngest son, three year old Anthony. The house was in terrible conditions everywhere cockroaches, broken furniture, holes in the walls. On the bed where the boys slept, there was no sheets, no pillows, and the refrigerator — not a crumb of food. Three years Anthony was hungry and dehydrated, police said.
The mother will be prosecuted, while children were taken away by social services.
