Twice deported a man stoned crashed into a car: the girl was killed, her father is in serious condition

In Texas a man who was twice deported from the United States, got behind the wheel, being in a condition of narcotic intoxication. This has caused a terrible accident that killed a teenager.

A fatal accident occurred on Sunday, may 27, in Houston about 5 PM. That evening the family, Baez went on the car to the cinema and stopped at a red light in the area of Westpark. Just at this moment 27-year-old Eddie Lopez-Hernandez at full speed crashed into their car.

The accident affected all members of the family Baez: the mother received minor injuries, the father is in serious condition, and one of their daughters — 13-year-old Nicole broke her arm. The second girl, 17-year-old Britney, who was sitting with her sister in the back seat, died as a result of the impact.

«I only remember I sit down on the sidewalk, and my mother is still screaming my sister’s name» — told the victim’s sister.

According to the Houston Police Department (HPD) after a car accident, Lopez-Hernandez jumped out of the car, taking his 2-year-old son, tried to flee the scene of the crime.

The witness noticed the fleeing culprit, stopped him, saying that he should return. Lopez-Hernandez had been listening and came back to the car, where he was arrested by HPD representatives. His son was taken to the hospital , Memorial Hermann Southwest, where he was given necessary medical assistance, and then returned to the family.

Investigators said that Lopez-Hernandez was under the influence of drugs when the collision occurred with the car of Baez. He drove at speeds of 70 miles (112 km) per hour and hit the brakes, approaching a traffic light, added the police source.

The Baez family is hoping their tragedy will be a lesson for other people who should think twice before getting behind the wheel after consuming drugs.
