Shooting at night festival in new Jersey: there are lost

At least 1 person was killed and about 20 injured today, June 17, at the festival Art All Night in Trenton (state of NJ), reports ABCnews. In the morning it became known that the deceased 33-year-old man one of those who opened about 2: 45 a.m. fire in the Roebling Market, where the festival took place.

At the scene discovered multiple weapon types. Causes of the fire are not reported. Supervises the special investigation Department of the County of Mercer.

One of the eyewitnesses Angelo Nicolo told reporters from WPVIthat he first took sounded claps for the sound of fireworks, so didn’t even pay attention to them. «I approached the brother and said, «I Hear you shoot?», I [replied] to him: «It’s like fireworks»». But his brother insisted that this shooting. «We turned that way and saw all the terrified people running down the street,» added Angelo.

The injured were taken to regional medical center Capital Health in Trenton. Accurate information on the extent of the injury yet. Police said four of the injured are in «very critical» condition, among them 13-year-old.

Due to the tragic incident, the festival was prematurely closed.
