The plane crashed in the Parking lot of the shopping center: 5 dead

Yesterday, August 5, around noon in Santa Ana (California) the plane crashed: in the Parking lot of a shopping center, the plane crashed. As reported by the fire Service County of orange (OCFA), in the crash killed 5 people.

Specialist in media relations Tony Bommarito reported that all of the victims — passengers of the aircraft, none of the bystanders were not injured. «It could be much worse, — said the representative of the OCFA. — It was Sunday, people were shopping, so the fact that the earth is not wounded, — in itself a miracle.»

A Cessna 414 aircraft declared an emergency and crashed into a mall parking lot near the the @JohnWayneAir in Santa Ana, CA today at 12:28 p.m. PDT. The #FAA will investigate and the @NTSB will determine the cause of the accident.

The representative of the National Committee on transportation safety (NTSB) Peter Knudson said airport Manager John Wayne gave permission to land after the pilot reported an emergency. However, after a few moments, the plane was already on the ground.

According to the Federal civil aviation Agency (FAA), Cessna 414 was owned realtor of Category III Aviation (San Francisco). Bommarito confirmed that the plane took off in Concord (CA) and headed to the Northern part of the state.

The NTSB is investigating the incident with assistance from the FAA.
