In the US 6-year-old child was hospitalized in serious condition after a mosquito bite

Mom 6-year-old Noah still can’t find a place for himself, despite the fact that the crisis had passed. Her child is now in hospital and is undergoing treatment for the disease, known as encephalitis, La Crosse. This is an extremely dangerous disease, which is accompanied by convulsive seizures, headache, vomiting, and fever. In certain cases there is asymmetric flaccid paralysis, and neurological disorders.

The story happened in North Carolina. As told by the mother of the child, Loriann Surry, she and her husband have five children, which they absolutely love them. Last weekend the whole family went shopping, and already on the way back, 6-year-old Noah complained of a headache. The woman gave him medicine, and after a few minutes the child felt better. Then Loriann did not know that this was only the beginning.

The next day the boy’s condition deteriorated sharply. There was high temperature, and the child if he was in a trance and almost didn’t talk. Realizing that the situation is critical, the boy’s family called 911. Came to call the paramedics managed to stabilize the condition of the baby and stated the need for immediate hospitalization.

Already in hospital it turned out that the child had contracted encephalitis La Crosse, which was handed down to him through a mosquito bite. The doctors did everything possible to improve the situation and soon the crisis receded. However, physicians still fear the consequences of the disease.
