The guy from the US went missing while on holiday in Slovenia: they can’t find him 7 weeks

Alan Laskin from Wisconsin says he does not lose hope that his son, 25-year-old Jonathan, is still alive.

Almost seven weeks ago Jonathan Laskin was declared missing while on holiday in Slovenia.

In mid-June, the Laskin family (Alan, his ex-wife Susan stone and their two sons) spent a holiday in Austria and Germany. According to the parents of the missing man, he decided to continue the journey in Slovenia, and the family returned home to the United States.

It is known that Jonathan Laskin, recently worked as a Professor of chemistry at Hong Kong, arrived safely at Macao and checked into a hostel. On 22 June he reported to his friend that he was going to visit Triglav national Park in the North-East of the country. When the son several days did not contact the family, the family has appealed for help to the U.S. state Department.

According to representatives of the state Department, they continue to work with local authorities to track down the Jonathan Laskin – or at least obtain information about his fate.

Jonathan Luskin, 25, was last seen by his mother when they parted ways in Vienna on June 22 as she flew back to Madison and Luskin continued on to Ljubljana, Slovenia. https://t.co/lWU8zBzPvx

Triglav national Park is the main tourist center of Slovenia. The highest point in the Park (and throughout Slovenia) — mountain Triglav (2864 m). There are lakes, rivers and valleys, inhabited by wild animals: bears, lynx.
