3-year-old toddler whose remains were found in a makeshift hut in new Mexico, died during the religious ritual that was supposed to exorcise the devil out of the boy’s body.
A dead child was discovered on 6 August after the County police Taos in conjunction with the FBI raided an indoor village located in the desert near the town of Amalia, where they found 11 hungry kids and 5 adults – three women and two armed men.
According to official data, the identity of the boy has not yet been established, but one of those arrested — known new York Imam al-Taqwa Siraj Wahaj said that the child is his grandson, Abdul-Ghani (previously there was information that he was the father of the missing boy).

«Some of the kids told that this ritual was intended for the expulsion of diabolical spirits out of the body of Abdul-Ghani. All five defendants knew about these rituals,» — said the Prosecutor of the County of Taos John Lovelace, confirming information which was discussed earlier in the warrant for the arrest of Siraj Vajaja.
According to testimony, the baby died in the arms of his father in February of this year. The family thought that once the demons leave his body, after four months the boy will be resurrected like Jesus.
According to the FBI agent Travis Taylor, one of the children said that the family was in new Mexico following the message from God. They came West after Vahag returned from a trip to Saudi Arabia last year and told his wife he wanted to divorce.

One of the children admitted to investigators that they believed Abdul-Ghani dead before his deadly ritual. According to them, he was able to walk only because the demons kept him alive. (The boy’s mother reported to CNN that her son suffered from seizures and needed regular medical care). In the words of one teen, a resident of the community level Jenny,who called herself the wife of Siraj Wachaga, believed that Abdul Gani was her child, and Hakim Ramzi stole it from her womb using black magic.
One of the prosecutors also noted, found that children taught how to use weapons and protect the community in case of FBI RAID.
