Police arrest suspect in rape of 11-year-old girl in Brooklyn

Police officers grabbed and accused 18-year-old Julio C. Ayala in the burglary and rape of 11-year-old girl in Brooklyn.

Yesterday, 1 September, shortly before 2 o’clock in the afternoon at 830 Flatbush Ave, police arrested a suspect in a crime guy. According to WABC, thanks to captured video footage they were able to trace Ayala to his house which was five blocks from the crime scene. When the police tried to arrest the man, he fled to the construction site where they were cornered.

On the recording, taken by a witness, shows how an angry mob rushing to the side, where the detention occurred. Many of those present shouted offensive and obscene things towards Ayala.

«Everyone was happy, commending the work of the police. They were happy that it still got caught,» he told WABC, one of the residents of the district. Another witness suggested that people were so angry, that if not the police, they would have killed the guy.

First, the police announced Ayala «person of interest», but after 8 hours of questioning, he was officially charged with trespassing in someone else’s home, burglary, sexual harassment, infliction of harm to the child and rape.

As reported by law enforcement agencies, on August 29 at about 11:30 p.m. Ayala got on the second floor in the room of a sleeping child and raped her. When the girl called the parents, the offender escaped. Thanks to video surveillance police identified the suspect, who was in the vicinity immediately after the incident.
