Homeless stole a car with a 2 year old little girl, and then hit the cyclist and crashed into 3 cars

Sunday, November 18, Brooklyn 52-year-old homeless Andrea Arnold stole a car with a 2-year-old girl in the back seat, and then, knocking the cyclist crashed into several parked cars.

According to NYPD, around 12.45 29-year-old woman (whose name was not reported) came from a Honda Accord near the petrol station at Euclid and Sutter on Sutter Avenue to replenish stocks of fuel and a bite to eat, while not locking the door and turning off the engine.

At the same time in the driver’s seat jumped a stray and hit the gas. According to the police, the car was carrying 2-year-old girl, abandoned by a careless mother in the car seat the back seat.

Arnold drove about 2 blocks to Sutter Avenue and Crescent Street, where he hit 36-year-old cyclist. Then a boy racer turned onto Belmont Avenue and crashed into 3 parked cars. The woman tried to flee, but was detained by witnesses.

«She was on the sidewalk, screaming… she has a driver’s license,» he told WABC Laurie Thompson — the owner of the red jeep, the victim of a stroke.

The NYPD reported that the cyclist suffered minor injuries and he came to the nearest pizzeria, there to wait for the ambulance.

«There was a lot of blood,» said WABC employee of the institution, Francisco Pindela.

The girl was safely reunited with her mother. The baby was taken to Brookdale Hospital to check her condition.

Andrea Arnold was arrested at the scene. She was charged with kidnapping, Grand theft and dangerous driving.

A failed attempt to steal the car was made in July in Texas. The man climbed into the jeep in which slept 2 boys. Their mother managed to jump into the back seat and shot the hijacker in the head.
