Shooting in a bowling alley in southern California: 3 dead, 4 wounded

Night brawl in a California bowling alley turned into a tragedy, which killed three men, and four were injured.

The incident occurred in the night of 4 to 5 January at Gable House Bowl in TORRANCE (southern California).

In the TPD not told what exactly led to the shooting, but witnesses claim that this happened because of a fight between two large groups of people at the bowling alley.

According to police, three men died at the scene, two injured were taken to a local hospital and two others have applied for medical aid on their own. The victims ‘ names were not released because first the police must notify next of kin.

Wes Hamad told the Associated Press that he was that night at the bowling alley with his 13-year-old niece and a cousin. According to an eyewitness, he saw how the «big fight». Hamad said that because of the brawl, which lasted about five minutes, entrance in Gable House Bowl were closed and the school began «a complete chaos».

«I grabbed her niece and ran to the far end of the alley, he said. — While we were running, we heard 15 shots.»

TORRANCE is located about 20 miles (32 km) Southeast of downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the South Bay.

The recent mass shooting in California occurred on 8 November when a former marine Ian David long went to the bar to Borderline Bar & Grill and opened fire on the visitors. Then 12 people were killed and as many injured.
