35-year-old pharmacist Tristan Baudette, who received a bullet in the head when I went camping with her daughters, was murdered by the same man who for the last 32 years, opened fire on several unsuspecting tourists and motorists.

In the end, the police managed to arrest the suspect. They found 42-year-old Anthony Rauda, who was detained in October in the ravine near the Park. He was dressed in black, and in his backpack were a rifle. According to Luis Patino of the Department of Corrections, the man was on parole after he was released from prison for possession of a loaded gun. He was charged with murder, 10 attempted murders and five cases of break-ins. According to representatives of district Prosecutor Chiari Dávila-Morales, he was also sentenced to a year in prison for violation of probation and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
Baudette was Deputy Director of the pharmaceutical company Allergan, according to his LinkedIn page.

Malibu Creek State Park is 30 miles West of downtown Los Angeles. It was temporarily closed after the murder. Much of the Park often serves as a place for filming movies and television shows, for example, on its territory filmed legendary TV series about the life of a military mobile surgical hospital, «M*A*S*H».
