Hoping to warn others about the danger of meeting wild animals, a resident of Colorado published a terrifying video of the»attack» of a moose at the ski resort.
According to the photographer and local resident Lauren Grosswald, the incident occurred on the ski resort of Breckenridge (Summit County, Colorado) on Saturday, January 19.
Lauren and guy were walking around the resort, when suddenly I saw a crowd of people who shouted something. Coming closer, she realized that people watching a large moose who came out of the bushes.
«I pulled out my phone to take pictures, and then the moose started to approach the crowd,» says Lauren.
In a matter of seconds a wild animal went on a run and began to chase snowboarders and skiers – Lauren managed to capture a few seconds of awesome video before you hid behind a tree.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but according to the photographer, people initially incorrectly behave when meeting with a moose.
«We are locals and know a bit more about the animals that there are found. If you see a moose, do not approach him. Just get out as quickly as possible and leave that animal alone, says Lauren Draugsvoll. They may seem peaceful, but will attack you as soon as I feel threatened».
Lauren adds that all of them «lucky» because such a meeting could end in tears.
According to the Director of the resort, its staff will take measures to prevent the guests to approach wild animals. What measures – not specified.
By the way, a similar story occurred in Breckenridge in the past year – when the moose showed up right on the ski slope.
