Army veteran stabbed his girlfriend, shot her 6-year-old son and then committed suicide live on Facebook

Yesterday, 4 February, 33-year veteran of the U.S. army Govoni Mclendon Jr. of Miamisburg (Ohio) called the police and said that killed his girlfriend, 27-year-old Diesel Patterson, her 6-year-old son Carter Clemons and was going to kill himself.

«I just killed his girlfriend and her son and going to kill myself, he told the 911 operator. I’ll just say that I’m sorry.»

According to the police, immediately after the bell Mclendon was released in Facebook Live and shot himself. Video of sisesti been removed.

During the press conference the chief of police of Ohio Ron Hess reported that it all happened in a matter of minutes.

At 11.34 the police called the child’s mother of Mclendon and told about the call his former roommate: «the Father of my son just killed his girlfriend and her son… He just put a gun to my head and hung up».

According to Ron Hess, 11.36 police were already at the house where there lived a couple. In 11.37 on the 911 call the mother of Mclendon, saying the same information, and then with the 911 was contacted by another man — he told on a live broadcast on Facebook.

Between 11.43 11.50 and received 4 more calls. Everyone said that just witnessed the suicide of Mclendon while watching Facebook Live.

At 11.55, after evacuating neighbors, police broke into the house, where they found the bodies of boys and men. The woman was alive. Now she is in Kettering Medical Center in critical condition.

About the motives of the murderers is not known. The man did not leave a suicide note.

«This will be a lengthy investigation, said Hess. — We have no history in the database».
