On Saturday March 23 in Edison (new Jersey) near the restaurant Akbar about 2 nights there was shooting. One person was killed, one seriously wounded. The middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey and the chief of police of Edison Thomas Bryan announced this morning that both men were originally from Newark. Their names have not been disclosed.
According to police, 31-year-old man was declared dead at the scene, reported that he was shot in the head. The second 40 year old man was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies did not report on the arrests or on the motive for the shooting. «As of 2:30 am we can only confirm that the second victim was seriously injured,» reads the police report.
The shooting occurred near the Indian restaurant Akbar 21 Cortland Street. The police call about the shooting came at 1:56 of the night. In Akbar at that time was reggaeparty, arranged in honor of the birthday of the Altar of brown, who was shot March 24, 2018 at a restaurant in Maplewood (Essex County).
Now under investigation, police are searching for a car in silver color which was on the scene and which disappeared several men of African Americans immediately after the shooting.
