In the United States has sentenced a driver who raped a passenger when she suffered a stroke after the accident

Last Friday in Seattle (state of Washington) , a man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the rape of a passenger who suffered a stroke after the truck in which they were travelling had an accident.

The jury recognized the 43-year-old chase Hanson guilty of rape in the second degree and assault in the second degree.

The incident occurred in February of 2017, when the defendant with the victim (his old friend) came back from the restaurant. At some point, Hanson lost control over the car, and he crashed.

According to prosecutors, Hanson attacked the woman after she hit her head on the windshield of the car and had a stroke, and other serious injuries.

Instead of delivering the victim to the hospital, the man brought her home, where he continued to rape.

The next day, when the woman went to the hospital, she could not explain what had happened to her, and was only able to write his name.

The blame men were able to prove with CCTV cameras, reported The Seattle Times.

The victim told investigators that he remembered nothing about the crash when I woke up in bed with Hanson, without clothes and bleeding.

Incredibly, this is not the first case when Hanson was sentenced to 25 years in prison. According to court documents, in 2001 he was convicted of second-degree murder. Then the man injured two year old daughter of a friend, and the baby died.

However, this conviction was overturned in 2004 by the Supreme court. The Supreme court ruled that the killing was unintended. In 2009 Hanson was released from prison.
