Law enforcement agencies new Mexico called the house, where occurred the brutal murder of animals, the house of horrors.
According to court documents, one of the seven daughters, 53-year-old Martha Crouch told investigators that after their dog gave birth, the mother «took the puppies, put them in a giant pot and boiled some water, forcing all children to watch.»
17-year-old daughter also admitted that the tragic incident occurred on the same day, when her mother shot and killed her dog PIP.
Investigators County Sheriff’s office San Juan learned about animal cruelty when they started the investigation after the arrest of one of the adult children Crouch on charges of assault with a firearm.
Since then the Department for children, youth and families of the state of new Mexico has received hundreds of pages of reports with complaints of Martha Crouch and her husband, 57-year-old Timothy Crouch, who came from social services in many States including Alaska, Kansas, Missouri, and Montana.
According to court records, the couple were arrested on Monday, June 25, after questioning about 15 children living in different States.

The investigators found that some children do not go to school and eat poorly. According to the investigation, the family moved every time the police or social workers began to suspect something.
17-year-old daughter told me that in the last month, Crouch was beaten with a plastic spatula for cooking after she threatened to call social services.
And another girl said that she got pregnant at 14, and her mother beat her until she miscarried.
Martha Crouch was accused of cruel treatment of children and extreme cruelty to animals. Timothy Crouch is accused of obstruction of justice.
