In the waters of the Rio Grande on the border of the United States are searching for missing 2-year-old girl, immigrant

Agents of the U.S. border patrol searched the river Rio Grande, trying to find a missing two year old girl.

As reported in customs and border protection, the child’s mother – a citizen of Haiti — tried to get the child to the United States via Mexico.

Information about the fact that Rio Grande has lost a child, went to police in Texas later Monday night, July 1, after agents detained at the border patrol station, Del Rio, an immigrant from Haiti.

The woman told agents that lost 2-year-old daughter, crossing the Rio Grande near Del Rio (Texas).

«Every time a child disappears, it’s a tragedy, said chief patrol agent Del Rio sector Raul L. Ortiz. I can’t even imagine the suffering now the girl’s parents and hope that our search will yield positive results.»

Recall that just a week ago, an immigrant from El Salvador drowned two year old daughter, trying to cross the Rio Grande on the border of USA and Mexico near Brownsville, (Texas).

Photo of a drowned father and daughter was a shocking reminder of the dangers faced by immigrants seeking asylum in the United States.

Last year along the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border were found the bodies of 283 immigrants.
