56-year-old David Oseas Ramirez was found dead in a jail cell in Duval County Jacksonville (Florida) on Tuesday morning. Allegedly, after a quarrel with his cellmate kept in the head of Ramirez in the toilet until he drowned. Prisoners were held in the chamber on the fifth floor, where sit the most dangerous criminals.
Ramirez was sentenced to life in 2013 for indecent solicitation of an 11-year-old girl. The jury had 15 minutes to get him sentenced.
His cellmate, Paul Dixon, 43 accused in the murder of Ramirez, after an argument at 11 am. Dixon sits on charges of murder, armed robbery and the attempted robbery from 17 years of age. If he’s convicted of murder he will get another term to the already existing life. The third cellmate, who was a witness to a murder refused to testify.
At the moment the cause of Ramirez’s death sets the medical examiner. The Sheriff’s office has not officially named the victim of a showdown in a prison cell, but Ramirez on the documents is considered released from prison due to death, reported First Coast News.
