Police looking for man accused of assaulting a woman in her Manhattan apartment and stealing several thousand dollars that she had accumulated to buy a headstone for the grave of her late husband.

Saturday, September 14, at about 12 days Maximinus Osorio came home to his apartment in Alphabet city. When she opened the door, she attacked the man. Unknown pushed her inside the apartment and asked, «Where’s the money?»
Osorio told PIX11 that the attacker told her to «shut up» and not to scream and then grabbed her and pushed so that she almost choked.
According to police, the frightened widow said to the thief that her money was in her bedroom in a box. The man took all of $5 thousand, the woman gathered for the tomb of her late husband. Osorio said she saved money for two years.
Osorio spent three days in the hospital due to a head injury.

The couple were married 50 years.
Although police have released information on only one person, Osorio claims that he was an accomplice in the robbery. The woman also said that the attacker spoke in English and Spanish.
