In the freezer of the apartment the woman found her husband’s body, which could be there for 11 years

The body of a man found in a freezer in the apartment of a dead resident of Utah, could be there for 11 years.

A terrible discovery occurred last week when the police checked the 75-year-old resident of Tooele (Utah) named Jeanne Suron-Mathers. According to neighbors, they saw a woman about two weeks. When the police went to the apartment, Jeanne was found dead on her bed.

«That’s how it all began», — told KTVX police Sergeant Jeremy Hansen.

The officers began to inspect the room, and when they looked in the fridge, saw there the body of an elderly man.

«Suspected criminal component. Both bodies were taken to the medical examiner’s office for autopsy. The woman was not visible traces of injuries, as for the body of a man, we are waiting for autopsy results. So we will try to find out how he died,» added Sergeant Hansen.

The police have established the identity of the man – he was the husband of the deceased, Paul Edward Mathers.
However, during the initial investigation, the testimony of the neighbours of the pair are very different.

«Detectives have talked to several residents of the complex, and they remembered that he had seen this man, but the timing of when it was last seen, is very varied from a half to 11 years. We do not yet know how long he was in the freezer,» said police.

According to preliminary information, the woman died a natural death, but in relation to men, investigators are not yet sure. The investigation is ongoing.
