Protesters took to the streets of Virginia, chanting: «We will not obey»

Monday on the square in the Capitol of Virginia peacefully gathered thousands of activists for the protection of the Second amendment, protesting against plans by the democratic leadership of the state to adopt a law on gun control.

After protesters began to gather on Bank street, Donald trump published a new post on Twitter, stating that he «will Never allow our Great Second Amendment was left without protection.»

Many of the protesters chose not to enter the designated area of the rally, which was introduced a temporary ban on weapons, and instead filled the surrounding streets. Most of the activists, mostly white men who were dressed in tactical gear and camouflage. They also bore rifle, military, encouraging speakers.

On the big banner was a picture of a military rifle with a sniper scope and the words «Come and take».

A state of emergency was declared in Richmond today, as thousands gathered at the state capitol for a gun rights rally.

Authorities said that reports of arrests or injuries have been reported.

Police warned that extremist groups that arrived from outside the state, may use the protests to foment a «racial war.»

Governor Ralph Northam has declared a temporary state of emergency, banning all weapons near the Capitol building.

This is directly outside Virginia’s State Capitol building.

They want their opposition to be terrified. They’re terrorists.

He said he had discovered «extremist rhetoric, such as the one observed on the eve of major incidents such as in Charlottesville in 2017».

League for the protection of the citizens of Virginia, who organized the rally, called «10,000 patriots» from across the U.S. to hand over its weapons to someone else and enter the Capitol building without a weapon.

On Monday morning, thousands of people have peacefully passed through checkpoint to wave flags on the steps of the legislature in protest against proposed laws that they say violate their right to the 2nd amendment.

Most of the people who protested against the proposed legislation, interpretiruya this formulation as a violation of human rights of firearms and believe that the state should not limit people in this matter.
