Medical examination showed that the child died from dehydration and malnutrition. Seth Welch and the girl’s mother Tatiana Fusari was accused of brutal treatment of children and murder.

According to The Police Reporter, the testimony in the case of Seth Welch began with the airing of the tape, scary 911 call made by the father in that day, when he died his daughter.

«Hi. I don’t know here whether this misleading. I’m home, and one of my kids is dead,» says Seth.

During a call, the dispatcher asked Welch whether he is sure that the child is dead, and Welch replied: «Dead (dead as a doornail)».

When the Manager asked how he copes with this tragedy, Welch replied: «Well, you know. So was the day. Anything can happen».

Welch also reportedly admitted to the dispatcher that first called my parents to consult, and then 911. According to the report, prosecutors say Welch also before the bell had time to write someone a message about the sale of goats and read online news about the kidnapping of a rapper.

Jurors saw photos of the bed, where Mary died. They show that she was lying on urine-soaked mattress, which is so moldy that mold is spreading from the middle to the wooden railing of the crib.

Welch’s lawyers argue that Mary’s death was unintentional and was the result of poverty and inability Welch properly take care of the baby and two other children. Welch reportedly stayed home with the children and engaged in a hobby, while Fusari worked at McDonalds.
