Tiny but brave dog saved his owner when burglars broke in her house. She continued to chase the attackers, despite the fact that the criminals was shot twice in the baby.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 25, about 15:00 when the robbers attempted to break into the house of Deon Ewing in Georgia. Young niece Deon at the time was in her house along with Starla, a two year old Yorkshire Terrier. Suddenly she noticed several men trying to climb inside.
«My niece received a warning by phone that someone nearby.» says Deon.
The criminals take turns repeatedly kicked the door, which quickly succumbed and opened what Starla responded instantly. The robbers fired several shots at the dog, hitting the rear and front paw. When criminals are distracted by the dog, the girl managed to run out through the garage door.
«When she ran, someone who had a gun, asked the other, do I need to put her down.» says Deon.
Even despite the fact that Starla was wounded, she continued to pursue criminals. Deon believes that criminals are not shot her niece only because she was distracted by Starla.
