The heir of an estate and the son of a new York magnate Seymour Durst, Robert durst was buried his wife Kathleen McCormack-durst in the style of «the sopranos.»
Durst is under investigation for the murder of his best friend Susan Berman in 2000 and whose body was found in her home with a gunshot wound to the head. But Deputy district attorney John Lewin reported that durst is involved in another crime.
The accused’s wife Katie has disappeared in January 1982, and Levin told the jury that he would provide phone records and other evidence that durst buried her in the Pine Barrens.

According to the Prosecutor, durst call four times to the real estate company his family from new York city from southern new Jersey February 2, 1982, two days after the disappearance of Katie. All the pay phones he used to call, were on the edge of the Pine Barrens in new Jersey, proved that there was a durst.
A few days later, he told the NYPD that 2 February was in Connecticut on business. But Durst’s brother, Douglas, who heads the company, confirmed that it was a lie.
Prosecutors contend that durst killed Berman — the daughter of the late mobster of Las Vegas, David «Davie the Jew» Berman — because she was going to tell the investigators from new York that he is to blame for the death of Katie.
