NASA employee is accused of killing a national guardsman

An employee of NASA was accused of murder of a guardsman from Maryland, the family members who claim that he was in constant conflict with the suspect.

Tuesday, February 3 at Springfield (Virginia) was arrested 52-year-old Mike Hill, which is suspected that he shot his neighbor, 24-year-old Havona Prater.

According to the mother of the deceased men were in confrontation. The woman said that Hill constantly complained about them to the homeowners Association. She added that her daughter witnessed the shooting. The deceased soldier was a foot soldier of the National guard of Maryland for almost four years.

Hill, NASA employee, who worked in the headquarters of the Agency in the framework of the protection of business in the past — a policeman. He served as a police officer in Bellevue until 2003 and was involved in two murders while on duty in 2000 and 2001, but he was acquitted of all charges.

Hitla was charged with second-degree murder and using a firearm in the Commission of serious crimes. The suspect was arrested without the right of bail.
