Two men on Broadway on Wednesday decided to «let off steam» in a fight. One of them passed through the crosswalk at Broadway and West 94th Street, talking on the phone, at that time, as the second driving in your car. The situation occurred around 7.00 am. The driver, identified as Luis Roman, it seemed that the pedestrian did not pay attention to the fact that the road moves the car out on the roadway, and it really pissed him off. He stopped the car and went outside, but not easy, but … with a machete. Further conflict bystander captured on video.
Feeling threatened, the black pedestrian picked up a metal trash container and headed to the disgruntled driver. In turn, the novel in order, apparently, deterrence is forcefully struck with a machete on the sidewalk. The car left the woman, the wife of the Novel, which tried to stop it and to calm her husband. The novel, after listening to his wife, tried to get in the car, but now I could not calm down the offended pedestrian. He gave the car to leave, open the front passenger door. Roman rushed to him and swung the machete. The footage not seen exactly any machete broke from hitting a metal dumpster in the hands of the pedestrian, and the blade flew off to the side, or the novel just didn’t hold the knife in his hand and it went flying. The pedestrian was thrown in the trash Novel, but the latter repulsed him by the hand. After that the driver again tried to sit in the car, but an angry pedestrian, and this time did not let him go: open the driver’s door, he began to strike, pulling the Novel out of the car. After a little mutual fighting, the driver once again got in the car and the pedestrian again opened the driver’s door and threw it into the Novel some kind of bottle, to which the latter threw a drink in the foot in response. The video shows that the men exchanged some, probably, are not pleasant phrases and the car finally left. If you look closely, — it is evident that t-shirt on the Novel in the blood, and on his neck wound. How you received the injury is not clear, because the wound has been present from the beginning of the video.
After some time the novel returned to the scene of the incident, where he was detained, arrived on call police. He is charged with assault with a weapon and illegal possession of a machete. The earlier novel had already been detained by the police in 2006, but for what reason is not known.
