Second-grader Shallick Carriers of Syracuse, state of new York, was fatally wounded after he accidentally shot his eldest, 10-year-old brother.
As reported by the district attorney of Onondaga County, William Fitzpatrick, a gun – Glock caliber 9mm belonged to the father of the boys, and weapons the man possessed illegally.
«Father against the allegations,» said the Prosecutor.
A neighbor of the family, Frederick powers said heard a gunshot from the house where Shallick lived together with his six brothers and sisters.
«The older boy thought it was a toy gun, but unfortunately, it was not so,» said Frederick edition Syracuse.com and added that the child remains in a state of shocked.
On the scene immediately called 911 but it was too late – 8-year-old boy died instantly.
The children’s father Jermaine Moore said he could not comment on information about unlicensed weapons. He only remembers his son what he wanted to be a ninja; how she loved to do back flips.
«I taught him that,» says Jermaine. «The more he will never do it. I just miss my baby.»
