The judge ordered completely restart the DACA program

The district court judge found that the administration of Donald trump completely restarted the program, «Deferred action for child immigrants», which is more commonly known as DACA.

According to the publication Politico, the order is the latest legal blow to President Donald trump phased to abandon programs initiated by his predecessor Barack Obama and protects from deportation undocumented immigrants who have children came to the United States.

Judge John Bates (DC) stated that the Department of homeland security (DHS), which oversees the program, could not «constructively explain the main purpose of this decision». Bates also called the policy of DHS in relation to dreamers as «illegal and unconstitutional».

The government now has 20 days to appeal. If this does not happen until 23 August, the administration trump will have to restart DACA.

In April, Bates became the third Federal judge, who instructed the White house to renew DACA for people who have already been approved for the program, i.e. for more than 700 thousand illegal immigrants.
