In Saint-Petersburg (Russia) initiated a case against a U.S. citizen Audrey Eliza Lorber.

As reported by the United press service of the courts of Petersburg, the case was opened under part 1 of article 228 of the criminal code due to storage of medical marijuana, which she brought with her from America.

The criminal case against Audrey Lorber has registered the Moscow district court of St. Petersburg. In the message a press-services of the courts says that the girl pleaded guilty.

According to preliminary information, a resident of new York Audrey Lorber bought in USA cannabis weighing 19.05 grams and kept it to yourself for personal use. Drugs found in things girls during the inspection at Pulkovo airport.

«The patent available to the accused for marijuana in the medical program, designed in the United States, to the territory of the Russian Federation does not apply», — reads the statement of the press service of the court.

It is unclear whether the girl in custody. On the website of the Moscow district court of Petersburg has the information that the case was transferred to judge Oleg Tikhomirov on August 30.
