A man from Pennsylvania, who «hunted» for cats with a rod with a sharp hook, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty. 27-year-old Kenny Rawls, who signed a plea deal, sentencing for torture and malicious wounding on 2 December.
The first time the authorities paid attention to Rawls, who was arrested this spring, in April — after getting a call about a wounded animal. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals announced that he had found in an empty house in Plymouth a stray cat with a hook in his mouth. The animal managed to get out, but on the face he left a noticeable scar.
