The bride wore a prison jumpsuit. The groom too. The couple from Arizona had spent her wedding night in handcuffs after allegedly got into a fight with police officers.
The fight began on Saturday at about 21:30 when the bride, 30-year-old Ashley Jordan, tried to insult members of the local company in Prescott, Arizona, said the police Department Prescott. When she approached the police, her husband Eric Cordova (31) was aggressive, police said.
When officers tried to calm Eric, he fell to the ground and other wedding guests jumped up, engaging in a fight. During the fight, the bride allegedly pushed and struck the officer in the face with his hand.
The couple got married on the same day in Groom Creek Schoolhouse in Prescott during the celebration, which was held from 12 PM to 18:00.
However, after the fight, the newlyweds put in jail Yavapai County jail and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and disturbing public order.
Cousin of the bride of Amos Package (25 years), which combined the young by marriage, was arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and breach of public order. Another man, Dustin Traut (31) charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice and breach of public order.
Police have shared pictures that were taken after the arrest of the four. In the photo, Jordan is seen beautifully decorated white of her wedding dress. All 3 men are wearing matching red shirts.
Two other men, whose names were not disclosed, was charged with disorderly conduct, but released.
As stated in the police, 2 police officer received minor injuries.
