The need to stay in a similar institution was caused by a disorder of the brain that resulted in motor and cognitive impairment, and vision loss and dysfunction of limbs. Disabled woman became pregnant and gave birth to her son in 2018.

The parents of an incapacitated woman has filed a claim of negligence, which States that Arizona and her doctors complied with the request that their daughter provided care exclusively to women physicians.

The lawsuit States that Nathan Sutherland, a licensed nurse, the suspect in the sexual abuse of his ward, was taking care of her hundreds of times from 2012 to 2018.

Claims to the state of Arizona, which is a signatory to a contract with the Hacienda lies in the fact that it is poorly supervises the activities of the company.

Chris Minnick, a spokesman of the Department of health of Arizona, refused Friday to comment on the suit.

The birth of a child an incapacitated patient’s Hacienda called inspections by government agencies. This fact has emphasized the existence of problems with the safety of patients who have a disability or incapacity. The audit Executive Director of Hacienda resigned.

The lawsuit filed December 24, also against doctor Philip Gere, who was caring for a woman during a 25-year period ending in mid-September 2018, and Dr. Thanh Nguyen, who replaced the gear in the last year. Company Just For Kids and Internal Medicine Consultants LLC, in employing these doctors were also prosecuted.

Gear and Nguyen also are accused of that for 9 months did not see her signs of pregnancy (e.g., increasing the size of the belly) and we treated her constipation. Oddly enough, but the pregnancy was discovered in December 2018, only after the nurse noticed the boy’s head during childbirth.

The lawsuit said that the woman was not subjected to sexual violence, if doctors ensured that only female staff will take care of the patient.

The guardian of the boy born to an incapacitated patient’s HealthCare Hacienda, appointed her mother.

Despite the references in the complaint center Hacienda HealthCare, the institution of the suit has not been filed. Nurse Nathan Sutherland, who also is not subject to trial, pleads not guilty to charges of sexual abuse and abuse of vulnerable adults. While investigators say his DNA matches the DNA sample of the woman’s son, therefore, most likely, Nathan is his father. He was dismissed and arrested. It is expected that his trial will take place in February.

In the complaint not specified how much money in compensation required by the victim’s family, but, according to AP news, the notice of claim was a specified amount of 45 million US dollars.
