Black woman in Oregon was charged with the crime of hate for what she allegedly attacked the mother at the bus stop, saying that he hates «white people».
42-year-old Nimo Jira Qalinle January 19, punched stranger in the face after she got off the bus. The victim, Jane Jordan, standing with her husband and young daughter, according to court documents obtained by The Oregonian.
«That’s because you are white and I hate whites,» said she, when the bewildered woman asked why she did it.
The result is the victim’s husband intervened and kept Qalinle before the cops arrived.
Jordan told investigators that she did not know defendant and had never met her before the alleged attack.
Qalinle, who was taken into custody on Sunday, February 23, indicted on several criminal charges, including the crime of hate mail in the first degree, assault and conflict on public transport.
They pleaded not guilty on these charges. Qalinle also accused of disorderly conduct because she threw stones at the bus and caused damage to other property Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation.
