Claire since childhood, struggled with cystic fibrosis, or mucoviscidosis, is a hereditary disease that causes malfunction of the endocrine glands, that eventually leads to death. Despite this, she never get discouraged and never gave up. She always tried to make bright each day and motivate others who are in a similar situation. Due to this in the 14 years she became famous.

Over time, she launched her YouTube channel, which was signed by more than 250 thousand people. She was also active in Twitter and Instagram where openly told his followers, how is her illness.

«I fought with boys, drugs, depression, family and career than with my illness. I’m not naive and not a child,» she wrote in one of the social networks in March of this year.

In an interview with TEDx in 2017 Claire talked about the importance of self-esteem when you are living with the disease, shortening life.

«Life is not just joy… It’s about what you do in your life, and at the same time about whether you feel a lot of pride for who you are and what you gave» she said.

26 Aug Claire has gone through a successful lung transplant, but a week later had a seizure and she died.

«She felt no pain. Medical staff said it was the most peaceful death that they have ever seen» — written on the website Claire’s Place Foundation, Inc.

The bodies of Claire was given for transplantation to those in need.

«Her right kidney was transplanted to a 44-year-old woman from San Diego, and the left 55-year-old man from Northern California,» he told CNN her mother Melissa Yeager.

In his latest post on Instagram, she thanked the people who donated to her lungs, and doctors involved in her illness and transplant.
