Star of the TV series «the Young and the restless» Kristoff St. John has died at the age of 52. His lawyer mark Geragos confirmed the death of the actor.
Police officer Los Angeles Rosario Cervantes stated that on February 3, at 2:05 am police responded to a call in the area of the valley of San Fernando, where he found St. John dead at his home. The police suspect that he died from an overdose of alcohol. Forensic experts have not determined an exact cause of death.
Since 1991, St. John played the character of Neil winters in the long running soap Opera «the Young and the restless» on CBS. The actor was nominated for the Emmy award nine times and has received 10 awards NAACP Image. In the 1990s he also performed several roles in various sitcoms, the most famous are «The Cosby Show», «Living Single» and «The Jamie Foxx Show».
Son of Saint John Julian committed suicide in 2014, being in a psychiatric hospital. The actor took leave from filming in October, 2017 to complete the course of treatment. His mental health was rapidly deteriorating.
Ex-wife of actor MIA St. John said that the death of their beloved son Julian is strongly influenced by them. St. John was an actor and could easily pretend to be cheerful, but his heart was broken. MIA added that those parents who have experienced the death of a child, struggling with memories of this nightmare life.
St John was planning a wedding this year. In September 2018, he announced that he’s engaged to model Xenia Mikhaleva.
Actress Yvette Nicole brown responded to the news of his death on social media, lamenting his friend, the actor.
«No! This news really broke my heart,» wrote brown as «Kristoff was so good. I will never forget how wonderful he was to me and to all with whom he associated. He was just a good person.»

Vivica A. Fox shared her feelings on social networks about the death of St. John, placing a joint photo in Instagram.
