Forward of club of NHL «Washington capitals» and Russian national team Evgeny Kuznetsov, who appeared in the video with white powder, said he had «nothing to hide».
The video was posted on Monday, may 27, on Twitter with the caption: «So that’s why we have lost #Kuznetsov #fm2019» referring to the fact that Russia ranked third in the world championship on hockey in Slovakia. The video appeared on the account @Thesavspb, which was later deleted.
The scandalous recording Kuznetsov is sitting in the room where it is seen lying girl and 2 strips of white powder. 20 seconds hockey player never touches the unknown substance and, it seems, talking to someone on FaceTime.
Kuznetsov commented in an interview with Russian newspaper Sports Express. The athlete claims that he never used drugs and is willing to undergo a medical examination «at any time». According to him, this video is a year. It was allegedly filmed in Las Vegas, when the Washington capitals won in Washington Capital’s 2018 Stanley Cup Run in 2018.
«I don’t always relate to what is happening around me. I never used drugs and do not intend to get involved in this. To me if you have any questions – I am at any time ready to undergo a medical examination», – said Kuznetsov.
The hockey player said that he remembers that day. Then he went into the room to his friends, but when he saw there the «strange woman» and «strange substances on the table», then phoned a friend and immediately went out, says Kuznetsov.
«I have nothing to hide, let it remain on the conscience of the person who posted this video,» concluded the striker.

In a statement, «capitals», stated that they know about the video and «are currently in the process of gathering the facts.»
«I hesitate to use the term «investigations» only because I think it is rather ambiguous, – said Deputy NHL Commissioner bill Daly. – He acknowledged that was in the room next to it, whatever it is. But I don’t know what it is, and he claims he took nothing. I’m not going to accuse him based on that.»
At the moment it is unknown who was the author of the video and who poured it into the network.
In 2017 Kuznetsov signed 8-year contract with the Washington capitals 62.4 million dollars.
