It tells Rebecca Munday (21), she and her dog Finley attract a lot of attention in his hometown, in Gloucester in the South West of England, thanks to the incredible curls her 3-year-old English Springer Spaniel.
«People always compliment his hair and say he looks like a rock star. Finley likes the increased attention to his person and the questions people have» — told the news publication Caters News Rebecca, which professionally takes care of the dogs.
His amazing style hairstyles started with the Mohawk, when the puppy was only 6 months. Soon the curls started to grow, and in the end, the dog began to resemble the rock legends John Lennon and Brian may from Queen, as explained by Rebecca.
«I was cutting them when he was younger, but then I realized that it was his curls that make it so unique and it stands out from other English Springer spaniels,» she recalls.
Now a dog with long hair won the hearts of over 12 thousand fans in Instagram. Besides, a dog enjoys the sponsorship of brands that offer dog collars, dog beds and other products. Rebecca, who works at the animal shelter, donates products to dogs who need them most.
She also told how she manages to persuade an energetic dog to sit so patiently in front of the camera. «He’s pretty well educated. In addition, it is possible to motivate with toys and treats. So I persuaded him to pose for the camera,» says Rebecca.
She added: «Finlay is usually quite calm, but then goes crazy, as in almost every Spaniel, caught near puddles or water – he always comes home dirty.»
Due to the success in social networks, her dog, the owner of the pet met her fiancé 22-year-old Ollie Brace.
«I have much to thank Finley,» she says. «He is the most loving dog that I could ever dream of, and I’m very happy that I have it».
