Most people visit Las Vegas for a casino and absolutely crazy night life. But that’s the charm of sin City do not end there. 10 miles from the world-famous capital of fun in the desert, you can find one of the most unusual and the most unknown attractions of Nevada – «Seven magic mountains«.

This place is amazing both day and night. The author of the amazing installation is a Swedish artist Hugo Rondino, which has built a huge 9-metre totems of the local boulders. The stones are painted in various, mostly bright colors that play well even against the night sky. The artist chose this place for its installation, because, according to him, it is «physically and symbolically located halfway between the natural and the natural.»

Visitors can walk right up to the boulders to photograph the rainbow totems to read information about installation on a special sign, and use their phones to listen to the audio guide.

Seven magic mountains – temporary project, and to see it will be until may 2018. The installation is open to the public from dawn to dusk.

From Las Vegas you can get there driving North on highway I-15 to Sloan Rd (exit 25). Then turn left (East) and follow to Las Vegas Boulevard. Then you have to drive about 7 miles South on Las Vegas Boulevard and then the installation will appear to the left of you.

From Los Angeles take highway I-15 to Jean, NV (exit 12). Turn right (East) on highway NV-161 towards Las Vegas Blvd. Follow approximately 5 miles North on Las Vegas Blvd, and the installation will appear on your right (East side).

On the way there are special pointers to the «Seven magic mountains» since the turn off I-15. Provided for visitors Parkingand, unfortunately, the place has no restrooms, so make sure in advance. In addition, this area is home to rattlesnakes, so prefer closed shoes and be careful.
