Press Secretary of the White house Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday at a press briefing on mass shooting in Las Vegas, said that now is not the time to discuss Federal gun laws.
«There is a time and a place for political debate, but now is the time to unite as a country,» she said.
On the question of whether discussion of new gun laws, Sanders said that «it would be premature to discuss the political side of the issue» because all the facts about the circumstances of Sunday’s tragedy in Las Vegas is not yet clear.
«I think that at some point the political debate will be held,» she said. «But it will take place not where we are now».
