President Donald trump said Monday that his administration intends to begin consideration of reforming the social security system in the United States, because some dishonest people use it.
«Some people use the system, and then other people don’t get what they really need to live, and we believe that it is very unfair to him,» said trump, speaking close to the government. «Therefore, we intend to very thoroughly consider the question of reforming the social security system».
The President did not say when exactly you should expect reform, but said he soon will announce his new plan.
It should be noted that the reform of the social security system was not included in the list of campaign promises trump, but his first budget proposal earlier this year included provisions for a sharp reduction in food stamps and some welfare programs. The proposed measures would restrict not just those who use the program without need, but those who are really counting on public assistance.
In one of his first speeches as President, trump promised to return people to work and now p all appearances, intends to do this by limiting access to public assistance.
«We want to save our people from additional help and get them back to work,» he said in January. «It’s so important, and it got out of control.»
