Donald trump, Jr. will testify before the intelligence Committee of the Senate in connection with the investigation of Russian interference in presidential elections in the United States. The questioning will take place behind closed doors on Wednesday 6 December.
Legislators will be able to interrogate the eldest son of the President for the first time. Presumably, the questions will relate his meeting with Russian lawyers and representatives of American business in Trump Tower in 2016.
The Committee intends to interrogate all participants of the summit. In addition to trump, Jr., it was attended by translator Anatoly Samogorov, White house senior adviser and President-in-law Jared Kushner, a Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin and Georgian-American businessman Hayk Kaveladze.
Samerkhanov translator, who worked for the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya already testified before the Committee on Tuesday.
